Business Development Specialist (f/m/d) SPOD | Remote Option

SPOD gives merchants using external shop systems access to our world-wide network of fulfillment facilities. We produce and ship orders within industry-leading 48 hours. In this role, you will increase the success of SPOD merchants on our points of sale (f.e. Shopify) with exceptional content planning and execution.

This position can be filled on site in our headquarters in Leipzig, as a hybrid work solution or remotely in Germany.

Your Tasks

  • You will be tasked with the strategic development of new scalable merchant relationships in EU
  • You will recognize untapped potential and actively contribute to the development within new markets and market segments
  • You will utilize an already established international network and constantly expand it to create long-term and scalable partnerships
  • You will accompany the entire process from concept development, acquisition, contract negotiation and project implementation to performance measurement and retrospective analysis
  • You will represent SPOD online and offline at trade fairs, networking events, or directly on site with potential cooperation partners

Your Profile

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience in a B2B sales position or in business development
  • You are eager to realize your ideas with potential cooperation partners, acting in a customer-oriented and product-focused way
  • You have solid experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • You have strong communication skills with ability to persuade across all hierarchical levels
  • You are a native speaker or fully fluent in German and English, French would be a bonus
  • You have the ability to work independently and autonomously to reach goals, but flexibility to follow instructions and process tasks

Nice to have

  • PoD & dropshipping knowledge
  • Familiaity with onlineshop software solutions, e.g. Magento
