Lead Product Manager (f/m/d)

As Lead Product Manager (f/m/d) you are responsible for the full product vision, strategy, and execution for our domain of Customer Facing Solutions. Your teams are closely aligned with Spread Group’s business units and build solutions that empower our customers and partners. This role requires the ability to discover deep customer needs and to combine it with a strong business acumen based on effective risk steering. As Lead Product Manager (f/m/d), you will direct a 30-member team of product owners and software engineers together with a Head of Engineering for your domain.

Your Responsibilities

  • You lead and mentor a team of six dedicated product owners to create highly customer-centric solutions that will help grow the business
  • You will have full ownership of the problem space and solutions based on deep customer knowledge, data usage and business strategy
  • You are accountable for defining, developing and advocating a product vision and strategy and transferring it into actionable roadmaps
  • You foster collaboration with stakeholders and cross functional teams with a focus on outcome, not output
  • You execute the mid- & long-term product vision to ensure that your team delivers high quality and high impact products that meet the needs of your customers and stakeholders
  • You inform, convince and persuade a range of stakeholders, also on an executive level
  • You transfer business strategies to priorities and clearly communicate them to product development teams, core business, and product stakeholders
  • You align goals and deliverables and drive overall success independent of organizational boundaries
  • You contribute to the Product Management organization at Spread Group by being a role model with the ability to introduce and inspire change

Your Profile

  • You have 5+ years of product management experience using agile techniques, ideally with web-based applications or mobile
  • You have a proven track record on product launches, from problem definition, over solution design to launch – with clear KPIs, product roadmaps, and Go-to-market strategies
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to link problems to business strategies
  • You are able to mentor and guide the team in product discovery, research, storytelling, and delivery
  • You always have a focus on empowering and enabling your team
  • You can motivate and lead people with enthusiasm
  • You have a growth mindset and and are passionate about product as a discipline
